S\u0131cak iklimlerde, tekrarlanan termal genle\u015fme ve b\u00fcz\u00fclme, \u00e7\u00f6kme, r\u00fczgar y\u00fckleri, ge\u00e7mi\u015fteki onar\u0131mlar ve s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 bak\u0131m ile birle\u015ferek tank g\u00f6vdesinin geometrisini kademeli olarak etkiler. Bir tank yap\u0131sal olarak kullan\u0131ma uygun durumda olsa bile, g\u00f6vdede yer yer meydana gelen deformasyonlar, i\u00e7 y\u00fczer tavanlar (IFR), d\u0131\u015f y\u00fczer tavanlar (EFR), i\u00e7 y\u00fczer perdeler ve bunlar\u0131n s\u0131zd\u0131rmazl\u0131k sistemleri i\u00e7in ciddi operasyonel sorunlara yol a\u00e7abilir.  <\/p>\n<p>Uygulamada bu durum, genellikle tank\u0131n t\u00fcm \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma aral\u0131\u011f\u0131 boyunca art\u0131k serbest\u00e7e hareket edemeyen bir y\u00fczer tavan veya i\u00e7 y\u00fczer perde \u015feklinde kendini g\u00f6sterir. Tavan, tank g\u00f6vdesine s\u00fcrt\u00fcnmeye ba\u015flayabilir, belirli bir seviyede s\u0131k\u0131\u015fabilir veya uygun s\u0131zd\u0131rmazl\u0131k temas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayamayabilir. Baz\u0131 durumlarda, tavan art\u0131k \u00fcst g\u00f6vde katmanlar\u0131na kadar y\u00fckselemedi\u011fi i\u00e7in operat\u00f6r kullan\u0131labilir depolama y\u00fcksekli\u011fini kaybeder. Di\u011fer durumlarda ise a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 kenar bo\u015fluklar\u0131, buhar kay\u0131plar\u0131na, emisyonlara, \u00fcr\u00fcn kirlenme risklerine ve artan yang\u0131n tehlikelerine yol a\u00e7ar.   <\/p>\n<p>\u0130lk bak\u0131\u015fta \u201csadece bir conta sorunu\u201d gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnen durum, genellikle tank g\u00f6vdesi geometrisi, y\u00fczer tavan\u0131n durumu, kald\u0131rma kuvveti ve conta tasar\u0131m\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki daha karma\u015f\u0131k bir etkile\u015fimin sonucudur. Bir\u00e7ok yenileme projesinin ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131z olmas\u0131n\u0131n nedeni de budur. Standart bir yedek conta, yaln\u0131zca tank \u00e7ap\u0131na g\u00f6re sipari\u015f edilir, iyi niyetle monte edilir, ancak tank art\u0131k m\u00fckemmel bir daire \u015feklinde olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, tank g\u00f6vdesinde yerel olarak y\u00fcksek ve al\u00e7ak noktalar bulundu\u011fu ya da mevcut y\u00fczer tavan\u0131n kendisi art\u0131k d\u00fczg\u00fcn
