StorageTech’s Vent Cap is installed in low-pressure atmospheric storage tanks to meet free breathing requirements to prevent build-up of internal pressure. Threaded construction allows the Vent Cap to be installed directly on the tank, thus eliminating the need for any flange connection.
The main components of the vent cap are a housing, an cover and screen. The Vent Cap is equipped with a fixed air cap made of metal. Cover and bird screen supplied as standard. The cover protects ventilation and prevents the ingress of influences, dust, wind, rain or insects that spoil the product. No routine maintenance is required to ensure continuous and effective operation. Increases system safety by quickly relieving excess pressure.
